The H(app)athon App.
We’re releasing an App on March 20, 2014 that will learn a person’s behavior and what brings them meaning. We’ve created an interactive survey people can take over the course of two weeks that will utilize “active data” (answers they provide) plus “passive data” (answers sensors in their phone provide). This will help give us a fuller picture of how a person finds meaning so we can connect them to Actions that will increase their Happiness and well-being.
What the H(app)athon
App will Do:
- Helps users identify their Personal Happiness Indicator (PHI) score based on active and passive data (their answers plus sensor data).
- Connects users to Actions (either for themselves or for volunteer opportunities) that will increase their happiness/well-being.
- Provides a “global mood ring for the world” that portrays real-time Happiness Data from around the globe to help policy makers or anyone else see why the holistic measure of well-being could help guide their decisions with greater context than the GDP.
